MoErgo Products are guaranteed against manufacturer’s defects for eighteen (18) months from the original date of purchase from MoErgo. MoErgo’s sole obligation in the event of such defects during this period is to repair the defective MoErgo Products, or replace the defective MoErgo Products with comparable MoErgo Products, or provide replacement parts for user-performed repairs at MoErgo’s sole discretion; if MoErgo finds that none of the options is feasible, MoErgo may issue a refund. Except for such repair or replacement, the sale, processing or other handling of MoErgo Products is without warranty, condition or other liability even though the defect or loss is caused by negligence or other fault. Damage resulting from improper use, abuse, accident, or normal wear and tear is not covered by this or any warranty. MoErgo assumes no liability for any accident, injury, death, loss, or other claim related to or resulting from the use of MoErgo Products. In no event shall MoErgo be liable for incidental or consequential damages relating to or resulting from the use of MoErgo Products or any of its parts.
Because of possible user errors, MoErgo Products are not warranted against damages due to
Any user-initiated modifications or repairs (unless specifically instructed by MoErgo in direct written communication)
Replacing keycaps
Use of GPIO pin headers on Glove80 keyboards
Soldering of switches for the “switches-not-soldered” Glove80 keyboards
Use of non-standards-compliant USB cables, chargers or adapters
Use of USB power sources capable of delivering > 5V, such as USB PD chargers
Use of the Glove80 palm rests without providing adequate mechanical support to the palm rests
Use in a marine or corrosive environment
Before requesting a return authorization for repairs, please consult MoErgo and attempt to identify the issue. Many problems can be resolved in a few simple steps or installing the latest firmware. Other problems can be resolved by user-performed repairs using replacement parts sent by MoErgo, without initiating the return authorization process.
If MoErgo, in MoErgo’s sole discretion, deems the MoErgo Products defective, MoErgo shall decide on the method of recourse, which can be returning the defective products to MoErgo for repairs, replacing the defective products, or user-performed repairs using replacement parts provided by MoErgo. If MoErgo decides on returning for repairs as the method of recourse, MoErgo will provide you with an RMA number and detailed instructions for returning the product(s) for repairs. If MoErgo decides on user-performed repairs as the method of recourse, MoErgo will provide you with replacement parts and instructions for the user-performed repairs.
A return authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from MoErgo before the return of product(s) for repairs. Any MoErgo Product(s) sent without an RMA number will be returned to the sender at the sender's cost.
Sender is solely responsible for the cost of returning the product(s) for repairs to MoErgo’s New Zealand address. Any return for repairs must be received by MoErgo (at MoErgo’s New Zealand address) within 45 days after the RMA number is issued.
You will be responsible for any import duty, tariff, VAT/GST, customs fees or other taxes/fees associated with the shipment of the repaired products and/or replacement products/parts. Typically the replacement products/parts are sent from our partner factories or warehouses in China. Where practical, they are shipped on a DDU (delivered duty unpaid) basis. However in other circumstances we may have to collect import duty, tariff, VAT/GST, customs fees or other taxes/fees in advance from you.
If the original order was shipped using standard shipping or to a location where standard shipping was available at the time of the order, MoErgo will be responsible for any shipping cost (excluding import duty, tariff, VAT/GST, customs fees or other taxes/fees) of the repaired unit and/or replacement products/parts to the original shipping address. Otherwise (including but not limited to: original order was shipped with DHL surcharge or similar, or the customer has moved to a location that is not available for delivery with our standard shipping), the customer will be responsible for shipping costs and provided with a shipping quote.
The MoErgo warranty only covers manufacturer’s defects for eighteen (18) months from date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage caused by user error or normal wear and tear.
The MoErgo warranty is applicable to only the original retail purchaser, and in the country to which the order was shipped, and is not transferable to other customers or applicable in other countries unless explicitly agreed by MoErgo in writing.
